A connoisseurs Nut Brown Ale is blessed by the presence of lightly toasted American oak and sweet spiced Navy rum to simulate storage in a funky old rum cask. Just like the bodies of dead soldiers this dark brown awesome-sauce spends 66 days mingling with oak and rum, before being ingested by old folk and polaroid hipsters.   • Extract: Muntons Connoisseurs Nut Brown Ale 40 Pint
  • Fermentables: Brewcraft #20 Brew Enhancer
  • Adjuncts: 1 bag of lightly toasted American Oak cubes, soaked in spiced rum (Sailor Jerry). Oak and Rum added to the secondary fermenter (after 7 days of primary ferment) and aged for 66 days before bottling
  • Yeast: Muntons kit Ale yeast
  • Final Volume: 20L
  • Yeast Pitched: 12/02/2012
  • Bottled: 25/04/2012
  • Specific Gravity: 1042 – 1004 (6.6% Alc/Vol after adding 700ml of rum)
